CN Tech Engineers (CN Water), an Indian company specializing in high-purity water systems for pharmaceutical and industrial applications, has entered into a strategic partnership with Taiwan Pure Water Technology Co., Ltd. (Taipure), a leader in ultrapure water (UPW) technology for the semiconductor and electronics sectors. The partnership is aimed at delivering next-generation UPW and water recycling systems for India’s expanding high-technology industries.
The agreement was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on November 10, 2025. Under the MoU, both companies plan to jointly bid for and execute UPW projects across India’s semiconductor, green energy, EV battery, and precision manufacturing segments.
Shoeb Kurawadwala, founder and managing director of CN Water, said the collaboration combines “local strength and global precision,” adding that India’s growing investments in semiconductor and high-tech manufacturing require advanced water systems capable of meeting global purity standards. “With Taipure’s deep expertise and CN Water’s market understanding, we are ready to deliver end-to-end UPW solutions engineered for the most demanding industries,” he said.
Under the terms of the partnership, CN Water will lead project identification, tender participation, and on-ground execution within India. Taipure will provide strategic sourcing, design engineering, and commissioning support. The collaboration will operate exclusively on a set of identified projects, including UPW and water-reclaim systems for major semiconductor and EV manufacturing facilities.

The partnership highlights the growing convergence between the pharmaceutical, semiconductor, and clean-energy sectors, where ultrapure water has become a critical utility for manufacturing quality and sustainability. It also aligns with India’s national goals around Make in India, semiconductor self-reliance, and ESG-driven water reuse.
Both companies will also explore joint marketing initiatives, including participation in trade exhibitions, technology seminars, and industry collaborations to promote high-efficiency UPW and water-reclaim technologies.
